Once a thriving city, Charleston was home to many local surf shops and trinket stores. Before the city "went to the dogs", tourists and residents would stay involved in various activies along the Atlantic Ocean. Once the small city's economy fell, many home owners left their summer homes abandoned, and hotels became more vacant. After decades of excitement, Charleston fell and became the home of canines whose owners had long gone away. The dogs still kept their faith; they were beautifully shaken.
Forecast: The warm and extreme temperatures of the summer haven't left yet, but the leaves are starting to change from green to reds and oranges and even faint yellows. Leaves haven't quite began to fall, but it wouldn't be unusual for a few trees in the wooded areas to have lost their leaves. There always seems to be a light breeze in the air, drawing scents of burning wood from the small houses still left in Charleston. Rabbits, squirrels, and field mice can be found pretty easily scattered around the town. The water level in creeks, streams and ponds is high from the previous rainy summer.

February 18, 2012 - Hello, guys. So, I know that my activity fell. I have many excuses, but they really don't need to be listed. Real life got a little busy for that stretch of time, and with basketball season being over and track beginning, I should have, for the most part, more time on my hands, especially as my hardest trimester is ending as well. Please continue joining, posting, and being as active as you can while being a member of Beau. I'm going to work on getting up a new skin, advertising, and finding new ways to make you all more engaged. I encourage members, to come and old, to begin making characters and role playing together. There isn't going to be a sudden boom of players, so let's have fun while we wait for the fate of Beau! Much love,

January 22, 2012 - Yes, it is one in the morning. Yes, Beautifully Shaken is officially open. After a few weeks of revamping, Beau has reopened with the staff's hard work and effort. The site-wide rules, as well as the separate board rules, can all be found in their appropriate boards. You can be expecting new lands, packs, FAQ, contests, a shop store, and more within the next couple of weeks! Thank you for your time in reading this, and I hope that you will join us in our fight of faith.

This is where your journey begins. Follow these three simple steps: 1. Create and post your character's biography. 2. Wait for a mod to accept the character. 3. Keep your character active!
*Please make sure to reach all the minimum requirements and check the character bans and index before creating your character. Characters must be accepted to be roleplayed.
Once you've created your character you can choose for your character to side with a pack or to be a loner. In this board you will find Charleston's three packs: Cephalus, Marley, and Kiran. Your character can be a hunter, an advisor, or even a puppy sitter. Just apply with the leader's specific forms and meet the requirements!
Once your character has been created, you can post a thread in this board to plot with other people's characters. You can find a mate, friend, foe, or even your long lost brother! Just be sure to plot according to the other member's requirements. Be sure to always read another character's biography before applying for a plot!
The pound holds many kennels for unwanted dogs. If you can no longer role play your dog, but would hate to see it just disappear, you can put it up for adoption on here. Just be sure to fill out the appropriate form.
*Note: Only accepted characters can be placed in the pound.
