Does this site have a plot?[/color]
Beautifully Shaken has a vague outline of the city and inhabitants. However, we do not have an official main plot yet. You can read about the city here. (Coming soon!)
What does “semi-advanced” mean?
Semi-advanced means while we don’t encourage those who cannot write above 300 words for each post to join. However, we offer a more accepting environment towards beginners and the experience compared to a strictly advanced roleplay site.
I know some sites won’t let you use the default list of avatars. Is this one of them?
No! We encourage members to use them. While you cannot claim credit for making them, they are free to use on the site only. You don’t have to use the group of avatars but just make sure your new one is 140 x 240 pixels.
Why can’t I have a wolf/fox/etc?
Sorry, but we don’t offer wild dogs on the site besides for coyotes and coydogs. This site is a feral dog roleplay so we offer mostly dogs and a few coyotes.
Are humans still around in Charleston?
Yes, but only a small population. After the economy fell and tourists stopped visiting, most of the locals packed up and moved to find a steady source of income. However, a small portion of the population has stayed in the city.
Can my dog be owned by a human?
Actually, yes. If you would like your character to be owned by a human and interact with humans, they may. However, we do not accept human characters.
What kind of bans are there and what do they mean?
Well, we have three different types of bans - current bans, permanent bans, and personality/size bans. Current bans are the restriction of breeds of dogs that we currently have too many of; like if we have ten huskies and twelve dogs on the site, you can bet that huskies may be banned for a little bit until the numbers balance out again. Permanent bans are types of canines that may never be created such as wolves, foxes, etc. Personality/size bans put restrictions on the number of type of personalities and sizes of dogs we have.
Can my character have purple eyes? Or what about a neon green coat?
No, sorry, but we try to make everything as realistic as possible. If the coat and eye color are not consistent in a breed, it will not be allowed on the site. So, if you would like to make a purebred Dalmatian with purple eyes, you may be on the wrong site.
I don’t really like any of the packs. Can I make my own pack?
At the moment, it would be a safe assumption that members won’t be able to make their own packs. However, if you have a really good and unique idea for a pack, you may PM a staff member or post it in the suggestion board. We may or may not allow it depending on the other packs, members reactions, etc.
